Welcome to Summer!
For much of May we all had been praying for some rain. The Lord delivered and we hope He will continue to bring us moisture when we need!
The church does not take summers off. I feel it is important that the church be visible in the summer as it is during the school year. during these summer months there will be several things going on in our parish.
Upcoming Events
Atkinson VBS June 2-4.
O’Neill VBS July 21-23.
Mission Trip June 22-27
In addition to these things, I will be preaching a sermon series on the Book of Revelation throughout July and August.
come fall we will once again resume our Bible Studies, but I am hoping to try something new. If you read this newsletter after the June 8 sermon you know about it. I am looking for at least one person in each church to host a home fellowship and study.
The church of Christ did not start in church buildings, but in homes. Disciples are made through home studies. It is time for our church people to recognize that the only way the unsaved come to Christ is through invitation and fellowship. See me for more info.
